NY Salsa Bootcamp (lvl 1)

Join us for a full day of New York Style Salsa! In 7 hours you'll learn our level 1 curriculum led by Chad, Monica, and Daniella - a combined 20 years of dancing experience! We'll be visiting concepts rather than choreography and by the end of the workshop, we're confident you'll have had enough practice to dance a full salsa song at the social later that evening. During the workshop, we'll be pacing the music's tempo so it won't be a day full of cardio.

Have you ever attended a class where all the lesson time is given to the leads? Not here! We're looking to create active followers rather than passive followers so your salsa can become a conversation! We'll be offering technique for body movement and style that isn't disruptive to our leads, ensuring you look and feel amazing on the dance floor. The concepts we'll go over in this course are transferable amongst other styles of salsa such as LA and Casino.

Lead Pass Info

Whether you're an experienced leader or this is your first lesson, the leading concepts we'll be teaching are intended to create and polish a solid foundation. Every move we'll be practicing in level 1 is something you can lead everyone on the dance floor, even adapting to followers that have no experience! But the best part in our opinion will be taking these concepts and then adding your own flair.
